Tony Hamori
Director/Investigator
Since April 2018, Tony Hamori has been the owner and operator of Okanagan Workplace Services, Inc. He is a licensed and insured private investigator in the province of British Columbia and is a member of the Canadian Association of Workplace Investigators (CAWI). He regularly attends training with this organization, and others, to remain current in the field. Tony specializes in conducting Workplace Assessments, and investigations of harassment, disclosures of wrong-doing, and workplace violence. He has extensive experience dealing with the public and private sector in both union and non-union environments.
Tony retired from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) as a senior Commissioned Officer in April 2018 after 28 years of service. He has extensive criminal investigation experience, and while posted to Professional Standards and Employee-Management Relations, he conducted and managed numerous investigations related to public complaints and conduct matters. At various stages of his career, he conducted operational, managerial and administrative reviews examining process and policy compliance.
Tony has over 13 years of experience leading staff and managing progressively larger units that included municipal, public service, civilian, and regular members of the RCMP. He has worked with Human Resource specialists in the RCMP, Federal Public Service, provincial, municipal and private sector to deal with issues of performance management and various workplace matters.
Lisa Koltun, CAMS
Investigator
Lisa brings over 21 years of experience in the investigations and risk mitigation industries in both the public and private sectors. Her diverse investigative portfolio has included high-profile and large-scale investigations across Canada.
Lisa obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology and Sociology from the University of Toronto before joining the corporate services division of the largest private investigations firm in Ontario. Her experience and expertise spanned intellectual property, insurance, and fraud investigations as well as extensive undercover operations. Lisa moved to Vancouver and led a corporate investigations team for a practice that grew to become Canada’s leading national investigation firm during her tenure. As an Investigations Manager, Lisa oversaw regulatory, fraud, intellectual property, corporate intelligence, and due diligence investigations for legal clients and all levels of government. Her involvement in safety and security initiatives for the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympics was a personal highlight of her career.
She then joined BC’s provincial regulator to conduct investigations in the real estate sector before developing an investigations team to focus on the market conduct of financial institutions. Lisa upheld the mandate to safeguard consumers through the investigation of public complaints and recommendations for enforcement actions. She was appointed as a Special Provincial Constable in the Province of British Columbia for five years.
Lisa is licensed as a Private Investigator in the Provinces of Alberta and British Columbia. She is a Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) and holds an Investigation and Enforcement Skills Certificate from the Justice Institute of British Columbia. She continuously updates her skills and maintains currency on industry standards through participation in a variety of associations and conferences.
